As of the next build, there will be no more Security in Oldaer.

What this means is:

• The Oldaer download will be the full version, no time limits.
• There will be no Customer Registration in the system.
• It’s Free!

There are a number of features that have to be in Oldaer before it gets released. We are working to have them in as soon as possible.

• Archiving (Backup/Restore)
• Import/Export
• Activation

In other news, we are going to be moving the “How To” content across to the Support (Get Satisfaction) site.

Because sometimes you might have to rush away from your computer, we’ve added the Timeout functionality to Oldaer.

A good example is 30 seconds. With the Global Options set as in the above screenshot, Oldaer would closedown after 30 seconds of inactivity on the computer.

In an effort to make the Oldaer interface as simple to understand as possible, the Copy Buttons have been changed.

The power in a simple change is incredibly visible here.

How easy is it to recognise that these buttons “Copy” when they have the text “Copy”!

Refining the process of creating and publishing the “How To” is an exciting experience.

The latest build features two important pieces of functionality.

The Visual Indicators show up when the cursor is on a field.

If you add a User, and then don’t want to have to log in anymore, you can tick the “Remember Me” checkbox. This will automatically log you in from then on (Can be turned off in the User update window).

A very important piece of functionality has been released in the latest build (0.7.0, see the Change Log).

You can now Register online through Oldaer.

There are two major benefits to this.

1. You will receive a full 30-day Trial license.
2. We will create for you an account on our Support site.
